Requirement for Admission

Candidate for who Wlll take admission should be free from the evidence of any contaglous & infectlous dlseases No rigid physlcal standards have been prescnbed for admlsslon under craftsman trammg scheme The tralnees to be free tuberculosis.

Method of Selection

Candidates will be selected through a selection committee setup by the management or there may be a test to be conducted by the technical staff at this institute if required. More over preference will be given to the rural candidates ofsundargarh district. In no case admission shall be claimed as a matter of right purely on markbasis. The authority is empowered to refuse admission on specific ground and is not binding for admission. Canvassing in any form shall be treated as demerit for selection.

 

Age Limit

The candidates of 14 - 40 years of age are eligible to take admission as perthe norm of D.G.E. &T., Govt. of lndia.

 

Age Relaxation

(l) There is no objection to the state Govt. / Union Territory Administration making necessary relaxation of upper limit upto 45 yrs. in case of Ex-serviceman.

(ii) Relaxation of upper age limit upto 40 yrs. permissible in case ofwar widows.

(iii) Windows/Separated women would be allowed tojoin various training programme under C.T.S. upto theage of 35 years.

(iv) The upper age limit of physically handicapped candidates has been relaxed by 10 years and kept as 35years on the date from start admission session.

Method of Selection

 

Books and Kits

The NPITI in having his own arrangement for the supply of Books/ Kits and other materials like course books, note books, Flat files for theory sheets, Drawing files, instrument box, Log sheets etc. which will be paid at the time ofadmission.

 

Uniform

The NPITI is having similar uniform for all the students to regularize the Dress code system. The cloths of the uniform are available in the office.

 

UNDERTAKING FROM TRAINEES

At the time of admission the candidates will be required to give an undertaking to abide by the rules & regulation of the institution to take care of tools & equipments entrusted to their charge and all other institutional properties.The Trainees not to discontinue their training voluntarily before completion of thecourse. lf they fail to fulfill the norms of the undertaking the authority shall have the right to recover from themthelossincurred on theirtraining etc. as may deemfit, (undertakingform is separately available).
